Application

This cable is specially designed for Wind Turbines and to be used for the Loop
Maximum torsion stress ± 150°/meter ( ± 100°/meter for 400mm²) 
 - Standard test : 2000 cycles
-  Results : No copper wire broken

1. Conductor
Flexible (fine wire class 5 acc. to IEC/EN 60228)
Annealed plain copper - Optional PET separator on core

2. Insulation
Special cross-linked EI7 rubber for high temperatures
Optional PET tape on insulation or assembling

3. Sheath
High mechanical performance, oil- and ozone resistant 
Special cross-linked EM7 rubber improved for low temperature behaviour (-40°C)
Colour: black

Permissible current rating (see table):
Each cable has been tested to the following levels:

  • Permanent temperature of operation on the core 90°C
  • Ambient temperature for indoor installation 30°C

Short circuit: constant K= 139 for 1 second calculated acc. to IEC 60949 (short circuit temperature +250°C and conductor temperature +90°C)

Bending radius:

Mobile use = 6 x External diameter
Static use = 3 x External diameter , if the external diameter < 12mm, 4 x External diameter, if the external diameter >12 mm.

Sheat oil resistance: good in mineral oils, gear and hydraulic oils

  • Mineral oil ASTM/IRM 902, 24h at 100°C
  • Gear box oil Tribol 1710/320 or equiv, 72h at 40°C
  • Hydraulic oil Mobil DTE 13 M or equiv, 72h at 40°C
